Our flagship event is a weekend festival held every autumn.

On Saturday night we hold our well-known Oktoberfest, a Bavarian-style beer festival. Lederhosen and dirndls are optional, but many villagers and their friends choose to get into the spirit of things by dressing up! Beer, bratwurst, pretzels, and traditional Oktoberfest drinking songs make this a riotous night to remember.

This year, for the first time, Oktoberfest will also feature a live set from a talented local band.

Sunday is Family Day. Events include a barbecue and bar, held outside in the playground, whilst in the field we hold a dog show, plus competitions for the young – and the young at heart! Last year we held a rounders match which was enjoyed by villagers of all ages..
